Rae J. "Shug" Spinks,
72 of Lima, Ohio died on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at 9:33 p.m.at Van Wert County Inpatient Hospice in Van Wert, Ohio.

Born Monday, May 1, 1939 in Grover Hill, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William Turner and the late Jeanetta Day Turner.

She married William A. Spinks on July 7, 1959; he preceded her in death on March 28, 1996. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She had worked for ARC-Council for Retarded Citizens in Administration, and St. Rita's Medical Center in Transportation.

Surviving are: daughters, Felecia (Ray) Spinks-Jackson of Aurora Il. and Kimberly Spinks of Grand Prairie, TX.; brothers, Richard "Stub" (Shirley) Turner of Lima, OH and Joseph Turner of Defiance, OH.; sister, Patricia (Ronald) Cain of Lima, OH.; a granddaughter, Lauren Spinks of Fishers, IN. and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother & sister-in-law, Carlos and Sally Turner.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Ward officiating.

Entombment will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum, Lima, OH.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 10, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
